Bake shop in Siedlce - 'Ratuszowa'

The bake shop 'Ratuszowa' in Siedlce
is placed opposite the Townhall 'Jacek'
 and belongs to Radzikowscy's family.

You can buy all kinds of bread here"

Yeast bread - a sweet, cornmeal and molasses based bread.

Buns - Small, dome-shaped roll, of sweet bread, or savoury bread commonly used in sandwiches.

Baguette -thin elongated loaf, made of water, flour, yeast, salt, instantly recognizable by slits cut in top surface before baking to allow gas expansion.

All the students loved the place and the food.

Ula tried jelly. Looks delicious!

Milena joined Ula. Of course just one is hers:)

Karolina was simply hungry... the French bread looks enormous!

The bakery shop is a local one so even the pictures on the wall present

SATURDAY, 25 January 2014

There is a part of our presentation about local products in Siedlce.

On Saturday we worked on DAIRY PRODUCTS. The students made a poster and a list of products which belong to this group. We also drank a lot of hot tea with some sugar and slices of lemon because...we were frozen to the marrow! The school was closed at 8:00 and we had to wait for the school's caretaker! There is a weather chart below...

...and some pictures taken during our meeting...
